What is tonsillitis? There is two types of tonsillitis - acute and chronic. Acute tonsillitis can be virus or bacterian origin, often called by the bacterium Actinomyces. Chronic tonsillitis often caused by bacterial infection which had not treated for long periods.
Symptoms of tonsillitis - tonsillitis include a great pain throat, headache, difficult swallowing and chills. It has a characteristic: red tonsils, sweling of the face may eyes may appear. Sometimes symptoms of tonsillitis confussed with symptoms for EBV. In common symptoms include loss of appetite, fatigue and enlarged lymph nodes.
