Chlamydia infection is a common sexually transmitted infection in humans caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis.The bacteria target the cells of the mucous membranes, which are the soft, moist tissues of the body not covered by skin.
Symptom:
-women:

• burning sensation during urination
• vaginal discharge
• pain during intercourse
• bleeding between menstrual periods

-Men:

• pain or swelling of the testicle
• pain or burning during urination
• pus (thick yellow-white fluid) or watery or milky discharge from the penis

Remember that chlamydia may be asymptomatic or symptoms may be minor!!!!
Treatment chlamydia:

1. There are antibiotic treatments (azithromycin and doxycycline,zithromax)
2. Go to doctor
3. All partners should be examined and treated.
